Castello del Terriccio

Castello del Terriccio is situated in the north part of Maremma by the Tuscan coast, a few kilometres north of Bolgheri. The property produces a small portfolio of exclusive wines that have been praised by journalists and consumers all over the world.
Under the guidance and supervision of Dr Rossi, supported by oenologist Carlo Ferrini the company has produced fantastic wines since the beginning of the 1990’s. Today the property produces 180000 bottles every year.

The flagship wine is Lupicaia (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot), several times awarded with “Tre Bicchieri” by Gambero Rossi. The Tassinaia is a big wine from Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot. Castello del Terriccio (Syrah and Petit Verdot) is the farms newest wine which has been awarded 95 points by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate for the 2001 vintage. More information on the wines will be available under Products.

Svahn Cru is proud to represent this great winery on the Swedish market. The first releases was during the spring of 2009.
